We believe that the finished work of Christ destroys the barriers between God and His children, and therefore there is nothing we need to do to be a part of God's family.
Believing that ritual and tradition are important parts of the development of the individual and the community, we encourage our families to introduce their newest members and allow us to welcome them to our family together. At nexus, our community members come from a wide variety of traditions, and we work hard to incorporate that which we value from our heritages with the new customs we are creating.
When we welcome a new child to our family, whether through a ritual of baptism, dedication, or a simple introduction and prayer, we stand together as a community to affirm the truth of God's unchanging delight in His children, and to commit to reaffirming this truth to our children through every step of their development and growth in our community.
